4 TOP beaches in Menorca
Illa d'en Colom
An island paradise, virgin, nature in its purest state. It is located just in front of the village of es Grau. It is a private island.
On the same island (on the west side), we find two of the most beautiful beaches: Cala Tamarells and Cala Arenal d’en Moro. Beaches of fine sand and sheltered from the north wind. In summer they are usually very frequented by boats or people arriving by kayak.
There are a couple of houses on the island (owned by the island’s owner).
Pregonda Cove
The most special beach of the island, the favorite for many, both sailors and swimmers.
An unspoiled beach that combines everything: crystal clear waters, special rocky shapes, unique sand color between reddish and golden. Beauty is the word that defines it.
It is located in the north of the island, is reached by car to the parking Binimela, there you take a path that walk about 30 minutes to the beach.
Cales Coves
Cales Coves is a very special place. Located in the south of Menorca, before reaching the famous beach of Cala’n Porter. Its waters are clean and crystalline, it has a very curious shape. Hidden in the cliffs are ancient caves that were once inhabited. A place with a lot of history. Highly recommended to see it from boat, although its access is on foot, the beach is small.
Macarella Cove
Cala Macarella the favorite of the south, beach with amazing turquoise waters, has a small beach right next to “Cala Macarelleta”. Fine white sand, behind the intense green of the pines make a contrast of the most Mediterranean.
